The Grand Budapest Hotel - Wes Anderson

The Grand Budapest Hotel
Film 2014 Wes Anderson

I love the look of this film, it seems every shot is a beautiful mirror of itself, the actors within the scene obviously move, but the sets are so similar it is beautiful to watch. Often these shots are shot with a wide-angle lens that distorts the straight lines which is unlike Horishi Sugimoto's "Movie Theatres" or Candida Hofer’s "Libraries", where the lines are perfect.

I think he filmed it like this to add a different feel to the film compared with other blockbusters you might see.
