More on Ceaser's Camp

From the wikipedia article I learned the meaning of multivallate fort. It means: A hillfort or enclosure that has more than one rampart or defensive circuit.

I also learned there is a rich history of military use there, which means a rich history of human intervention. This must have had an effect on the topology of the land deeper than simply viewing the current tyre tracks.
